SoundBox is a multi-functional device. It is a bluetooth volume controller, a portable speaker, an emergency charger and an accessory that could be a pin, a pendant or a bracelet.

SoundBox connects to your phone using bluetooth. By lightly tapping the haptic buttons on top of it, you can control the volume of your wireless earbuds, or generally, the volume of your phone.

The idea of designing SoundBox is based on the current trend of wireless earbuds. While they make our life much easier and portable by reducing the wire of the earphone, most of them do not have a volume controlling feature, meaning we still have to reach to our pockets, find the volume button on the side of our phone and press it. SoundBox aims to tackle this problem, but as an “useless” product, it tackles the problem in an unique way: creating another device to solve this inconvenience. (Of course, it creates possibly even more inconvenience such as charging, connecting or even remmembering each day to bring it with us.)

Apart from the “useless” theme, SoundBox is designed to be multi-functional. Sometimes we just do not want to listen to the music in our earbuds, we want to play it out loud and feel the vibration. SoundBox does exactly that, with the two stereo speakers at both sides.

Moreover, nowadays we are having so many things to charge: smart watch, wireless earbuds, phone, tablet, tablet pencil… A portable device that could serve as an emergency charger is the best solution to emergency battery issues. SoundBox could output its own battery charge and charge your device in no time.

Omnipotent as it is, I mentioned that we could easily forget to bring SoundBox with us. So, we have added the accessory feature to it. Not just one accessory, but three. SoundBox could be a pin, a pendant or a bracelet. Check it below:
